Happy Resurrection Day
In a time and a place where profits
have become more important than prophecy
it is important to resurrect the values of
Love
Forgiveness
Sacrifice
Love
completely and without condition
nor expectation of being loved back
Forgive
even those who wronged you
hated on you
or sold you out
Sacrifice
yourself to help save someone
other than you
This is what was taught
This is what we celebrate..
Yesterday
How much time do we waste
looking back
wishing
things could be the way they once were
tightly clinching
past memories
while forgetting
how much we longed for
Tomorrow
when it was,
Yesterday
Unstoppable
Like an infant
coerced into uncontrollable laughter by the
gentle tickle of fingers
wiggling across the bottom of their feet
my heart pounded with joy
as her smile melted my Soul
Love has the power to restore
to protect us
from the craziness of the world
like a baby cocooned
in his mother’s womb
unconcerned
unaware of those trying to prevent
his arrival
You can’t stop him
When he’s fueled by
Love
