A cold blooded
Terrorist

To attack
Then retreat
Hiding in some cave
In some remote location
Waiting
For another opportunity
To strike
Love is
A spitting Cobra
Hypnotizing
With its sway
Hurling venom
From close range
Like scud missiles
Clouding
Your vision
Quickly
Overtaking your system
Until you’re hopelessly
Paralyzed
and then
Hovers
Waiting for you to fall
While taunting you
With its hisses
Devours you whole,
then retreats
and waits
For you to breakdown
Slowly
If only you could
Learn to dance
Like the Mongoose
You would at least stand
A chance
