True leaders do not waste their energy worrying about how they will be remembered as individuals. Instead they focus their energy on taking the people as far as they possibly can go before their time runs out.

Do you think Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are true leaders?
Not to me, but I understand there are people in our community who consider them to be leaders and I’m okay with that. I wouldn’t personally follow them because I find them to be reactionary and lacking vision. At this point my respect for Sharpton has grown and Jackson has diminished.
