Beauty is all around us,
but because beauty carries herself like a lady
she often gets overlooked.

Maybe if she was
self centered
arrogant
always sought attention, or
constantly did outrageous things
to be noticed
we would acknowledge her presence.

But then again,
if she did those things
she wouldn’t be beautiful,
now would she?
