Free Love

My goal is to learn to love myself, the people in my life, and anyone I come in contact with purely and freely. This means:

  • Without judgment,
  • Without ulterior motives,
  • Without expectation that the love will be returned,
  • With vulnerability,
  • With honesty, and
  • With an acceptance of the fact that my love may not be enough to save you.

In the western culture this means I will often be misunderstood and not trusted as people try to reconcile my actions with our underlying culture of mistrust; and rightfully so. Admittedly, the love I offer will sometimes be with judgment, with expectation that it will be returned, and with ulterior motives.

Let’s just say I have a long way to go, but I’m working on it.

Get Your Hands Off Me!

You need to do whatever is necessary to get the devils hands off your neck and to regain control over your life. Poke him in the eyes, hit’em in the throat, throw an elbow to the gut, kick’em in the nuts if you have to.. and when you break his grip, you better:

  • Pray,
  • Get sober,
  • Stop acting scared,
  • Discover you,
  • Get rid of the negativity,
  • Forgive yourself,
  • Learn to love, and
  • Walk on the path to your freedom until you’re no longer in his reach.

From This Moment Forward

You don’t know me
I love you

You don’t like me
I love you

You don’t trust me
I love you

You’re trying to stop my progress
I forgive and love you

You’ve done me wrong in the past
I love and forgive you

You hate me
I love you

You want to be me
I want to be me too, and I love you

You love me
I love you

In truth, it’s impossible to reach your full potential when you’re carrying the baggage of hurtful memories and hateful seeds, even if it is someone else’s baggage. If you want to fly, I mean truly soar – you have to let go of the dark and start living in the light. From This Moment Forward.
