Smile, Are you With Me?

I want you to stop
Whatever you’re doing right this moment and
Smile

Smile
Because God made you
Beautiful

Smile
Because you’re loved and
Appreciated

Smile
Because you have the power
To make a difference

Smile
Because you know
Even though you’re not sitting next to me
Your smile
Will ignite the fire that
Lights my soul

Smile
Because you know
I’m smiling
And that’s something we can do
Together,
Brothers and sisters need to start
Smiling together

When we smile together
We are powerful
World changers
Nothing we can’t do
No obstacle we can’t overcome
No miracle we can’t make happen

When we smile together
We radiate light
Bright like a Supernova
Drip God’s contagious love
Attack the immune system of hate
Like a virus
Rendering it helpless
Unable to recreate negativity and
Defenseless
Against love’s advance
Until it’s only option
Is to assimilate
Into the culture of love,

And it all starts with you
And that beautiful smile of yours

So stop
Whatever you’re doing right this moment and
Smile

Smile
Because God made you
Beautiful

Smile
Because you’re loved and
Appreciated

Smile
Because you have the power
To make a difference

Smile
Because you know
Even though you’re not sitting next to me
Your smile
Will ignite the fire
That lights my soul

Smile
Because you know
I’m smiling
And that’s something we can do
Together
Brothers and sisters need to start
Smiling together

Smiling together
We are as God intended us to be
Beautiful

Are you with me?
