I Ain’t Scared

I have to be honest. I don’t have all the answers to this thing we call life. I sometimes get discouraged and suffer from doubt when significant obstacles are placed in my path. I don’t always exceed or even reach my expectations. I’ve made some mistakes that I’m not proud of. I’ve let people down and gotten upset over petty stuff. Yes, I have been lost, not knowing which way to go, and hopeless, unsure if I could even carry on…

But each time I fall down I get up, I regroup, and I press forward. Like I said, I’ve made my share of mistakes in life, and I’ve had my doubts, but the one thing I won’t do is rollover and quit.

If life wants to stop me, it’s gonna have to beat me down until I’m unable to get up. Until then we just gonna keep fighting because I’m not backing down and I Ain’t Scared!

Hump Day Advice

My advice to anyone who thinks they got dealt a bad hand is simple: So what!!

Don’t allow yourself to believe for one moment that you are hopeless, helpless, and that the people/institutions that you believe put you in this predicament are going to fix all that is wrong in your life for you.

Furthermore, we have to adjust our perspective to understand the reality that equality is a myth, fairness is un-American, racism will continue to be an underlying component of the fabric of our society until the empire falls, and people don’t really care if you fail.

That being said, our job is simple: To succeed in spite of all of the barriers, haters, and circumstances standing in your way. How: Dogged determination, unwavering faith, resilient perseverance, hard work, and the childish belief that you can do anything you choose.

It’s time to get over the hump and get it done.   Good morning and much love!!

You are Able

When you get to the edge and feel like you’re going to fall over at any moment. When you scream for help out of desperation and no one comes to your rescue. When you you call to the heavens because you feel like you’ve done everything you can do, and you get no response. That’s not the silence of God abandoning you, that’s the silence of God waiting to see if you’re going to use what you’ve already been given to rescue yourself. That is the moment when you need to trust your faith and find the courage to take the next step. It may not be easy, but you are Able.
